A life update!

Hello!

It's been a long time since I've even looked at A Slice of Mya. Over two months. I've decided that I need this creative outlet in my life and I should bring my blog back. Since it's been over two months, I thought that maybe I should give a little life update, so here it goes!

My last post was a back to school playlist, which was fitting since I wrote it during the first week of school. But since I posted it, I just got so caught up in my school work and my home life, that I never set the time aside for myself to write. I have been working a lot, as I've said on my twitter, I work at Starbucks. and its actually been going pretty well! I struggled a lot at first, I was under a lot stress to learn everything quickly, but luckily there are some great people that work there and I have an amazing support system at home that would always help me. Aside from that, at school I declared my major! I'm double majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. I'm super excited to move forward with my passion as a career. My classes have been going well and I'm getting high marks in almost every class. Public speaking, which is the most nerve wracking class ever, is my lowest grade, but thats okay! It's all about improvement.

It is also almost my two year anniversary with my amazing boyfriend. He has been the brightest light in my life for the last two years. I do not even have the words to begin to describe how irreplaceable he is.

I know this update isn't a lot, but I don't do much. I will try (key word: try) to write more often and keep up with my twitter.

I'm glad to be back in this amazing community, you all are so supportive and wonderful. Thank you for being part of this wild journey.
